SCOTLAND, FINALLY !

 

We put our money down and planned a trip to Scotland three years ago. Then Covid hit and the tour was suspended due to Covid. So our trip was rescheduled for the next year, but that too was rescheduled to 2022.

Edinburg was our starting point. The trip ended in Glasgow. Along the way we saw St Andrews Golf Course, various castles,  and the Loch Ness Monster.

In Edinburg we saw a Military Performance of Bands, called a TATTOO,  march and perform at the Castle. This was a major attraction and we had front row seats.

The trip ended in Scotland's largest City and among the various attractions there was a Police Museum which Dennis naturally had to see. The Officers initially took him into custody, but let him go. Here are a few pictures.

Military Bands march from the doors of Edinburg Castle with spectators in stadium seats on both sides. Fire works and spotlights filled the sky. We can still hear the sounds of the cannons and big drums pounding as the performers marched.

Following the "TATOO" our trip took us to a famous golf course. We don't golf but watched the people hit the little whit ball onto the green green grass. From here the tour buss took us up into the highlands and last Glasgow.
