The event took place 12 hours after surgery to remove a growth (negative) in rear of lower jaw. It was the required 1:00 am potty call that did him in.
According to Gram he was found asleep on the floor. 9-1-1 was called and quickly took Poppy to hospital. It was pronounced a spiral fracture and broken shoulder that would require surgery.
March 28 was surgery day, and doctor said he figured out how to fix the puzzle piece (fracture). The repair is holding bone and mechanical shoulder together. Only issue is it hurts!
