We will always remember where we were (Marco Island House), when we got a call from a neighbor who just said:' They finally did it, turn on your TV."
Naturally the TV was clicked on and we say smoke, and heard the initial report of a plane hitting one of the Twin Towers. We were in shock. All those thoughts raced through our minds such as "How is the Fire Dept. going to extinguish flames that high up" and "Will everyone get out OK?"
Minutes later we watched as a second plane hit the second World Trade Building.
