After a 28 year career as a member of the Essex County Probation Department, Dennis was appointed Chief Probation Officer in Middlesex County, NJ.
The First Day on the job Dennis drove 47 miles to his new office in New Brunswick to find nobody came to work that day due to a major snow and ice storm. He made sure to add his name to the list of those to be notified in the event of future storms.
The Sun arose the following day and made everyday bright throughout the remainder of his career.
